German safes were manfactured in mainly Hamburg and Berlin. The Safes in terms of their outlook, and structure are unique. The quality of the safes are very high as the safes go through inspections after inspections so that the safes that are going to be exported out of germany will be in top grade. These safes does not depends on machiney but hand work. The exterior/interior and the lock system as well, were crafted and fixed by the safe makers at that time. Due to its slow production, limited numbers of safes are manufactured.

After being exported out of Germany, Singapore Local Agent (Brimman, Ban Mayer) had them imported into singapore. The local Agent, sold the safes locally to the bank and rich tycoons, merchants. At that time, Bank is not well-recognised and popular. Therefore, a safe is a must for these group of people.

As for now, few are left after so many years. Many of the safes is either being neglected in rubbish collections, destroyed or damaged. And especially those that are still in useable and good condition.
